SANDYMOUNT WAVES

This cushion is from the Sandymount Collection. It explores the Sandymount seafront through graphic translation. I looked at three physical elements for visual inspiration for this collection – water, rocks and seaweed. The movement of water and relaxing feel is explored through abstract wave designs. The flowing waves contrast to the abstract rock shape designs. This graphic print is hand printed using a screen-printing method to create a once off Irish craft piece of art.
